We were briefed by streaming platform U to bring the world of the Mitford sisters roaring to life in a brand activation to launch its sizzling new original drama, Outrageous.
Set against the backdrop the pre-war Britain, Outrageous dives into the dazzling rise and scandalous secrets of the Mitford sisters - a family whose beauty, wit and political passions collided on the grand stage of history. To mark its arrival, we designed and produced an experience inviting guests to step behind the curtain of 1930s high society with the activation seamlessly blending cocktails, confessions and couture.
The day began at Dear Darling in St James's with a fashion breakfast previewing the Ghost X Outrageous capsule collection. Set to the backdrop of soft jazz, guests to step behind the curtain of 1930s high society with the activation seamlessly blending cocktails, confessions and culture.
In a bold transformation, the venue reemerged in the afternoon as a lavish 1930s London flat. Influencers and creators explored a series of interactive experiences - from cocktail masterclasses by the fireplace to dance lessons in the lounge. At the Writer's Room guests typed the title of their own family memoir and wandered through rooms adorned with authentic props, costume displays and vintage newspapers all guided by costumed performers.
The day culminated in a red carpet premiere at Picturehouse Central, followed by an exclusive cast Q&A. Afterwards, guests returned to Dear Darling for a house party straight from the pages of 1930s nightlife. With live jazz, burlesque performances, the night captured the wild heart of Outrageous - a celebration of glamour and unapologetic drama.
