An in-world, immersive launch event transforming ‘dark culture’ fans into lifelong Diablo fans. Driving an earned media reach of 326.41M UVM and 100% positive sentiment around the much anticipated launch of Diablo IV.

‘Sanctuary’ took over the deconsecrated Cathedral of St. Vibiana, in downtown LA, transforming it into the Cathedral of Light. With roaming characters delivering personalisation experiences like, ‘Find your Shamanic Animal Familiar’, or ‘Confess your sins to The Priest of Akarat, and claw sharpening at the nail bar.   

In a jaw-dropping collective spectacle, five guests were crowned heroes, and ‘blessed’ in a performance-led  ritual interrupted by the terrifying rooftop arrival of the demonic goddess ‘Lilith’. Driving wider interest, and the exclusivity of the experience, Halsey, SUGA premiered their video for Diablo IV anthem, Lileth at the experience, and globally renowned DJ, Zedd played a surprise DJ set, in hell. 


Sanctuary far exceeded our marketing KPI projections but most importantly, became a night of celebration for Diablo fans
